i work in @ skewl and met with my supervisor, who is the Assistant
Registrar of Finance sumtin or anotha, she deals with the financial aspect. I was in shock.  HAHA, *pick me, pick me*!!!! i'm styll workin me 2 jobs, Ma one job, our store is finished whoohooo, yeah movin in next Thursday, fweakin huge, biggest in Ontario, whoop whoop, cant touch dis da na na naaaahhh

I felt that I just had to write this, i've been seeing a lot about what happened Monday in New Orleans. So I decided to write something.
I watched as Katrina struck
I watched as it swept homes away
I watched at a distance and prayed
I watched as people ran and flee
I watched them cry and plee
I watched memories fade
I watched as the water rose
And the walls fell
I watched at a distance and prayed
I watched as the aftermath came
I watched as buildings crumbled and swayed
I watched as winds rose
I watched struck with fear and anger
And said, "Why God, why them"
I watched at a distance and prayed
Because that is all i could have done.
Some of us dont realize the magnitude of what happened...
I think people in general who havent been impacted by the tragedy is being a bit selfish when it comes to gas prices. I mean we sit here and COMPLAIN about gas prices, I too am not enthralled with what has occured with the rising prices, however, we must realize that 80,000+ people just lost their home, are sitting in shelters hoping everything will be alright, people without electricity, people running out of food and simply water, now next time you fill up your gas, think about someone who just lost everything in a matter of seconds compared to you who still simply has a car and a home to drive to. Think about it.
Did you know as well that even the survivors, it was quoted they probably wont have electricity till DECEMBER. I dont know about you but it aint November folks, thats 4 months away.
Bahhhh, its only the beginning....
In my eyes there is no way that they will be able to totally fix the damage done to that city.

That there was a moment of......., well i dont know what moment that was O_o Actual News Story: A man was found with his arm stuck in someone's car window. Apparently the car he was accessing, the window was left jus a bit open. The man saw some change inside the car and decided he could reach for it. Soon to find himself stuck with his arm in the window and shouting for help. He was in so much pain that he started yelling for someone to hear him. Someone heard his cry and called the police! He was charged and was found that he was on probation for some other conviction.
